Michael Knötig / Owner CCW Instructor Michael is the owner of MKTactical LLC and KurzzeitUSA LLC and has been involved in the Firearms / Shooting Range industry for over 20 years. Starting out in the early 1990’s he started his involvement with firearms as a bulls eye competition shooter, then changed his focus to IPSC (Practical Pistol Shooting) and built one of the first civilian Indoor Ranges in his home town in Germany. Michael headed this range for over 4 years as a volunteer manager until he immigrated into the USA in 1999. One of the highlights of his involvement was the yearly planning and hosting of the “GS-OPEN”. An indoor match event, which was regularly attended by many top German and European IPSC Shooters. MKTactical is now establishing a 5 star Shooting Range in the Hillsboro area. See “Future Range” for more info on that. Michael is a NRA and Utah BCI certified Instructor and teaches many Oregon CHL and Utah CFP classes and offers Defensive Pistol Instruction as well. In addition, certifications held by him include NRA Personal Defense Inside the Home Instructor, Range Safety Officer and Glock Armorer.

Our CPR and Pet CPR Instructor :Susie Knötig, RN, BSN, CCRN, CPANAmerican Heart Association Instructor Certified Pet Tech Instructor
Susie has been a Registered Nurse for 18 years. She has worked in the areas of Medical-Surgical nursing, Oncology, ER, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Post Anesthesia Care Unit and Regional Nurse Educator. She is currently employed at two Portland area hospitals and is the owner of “Learning to Save Lives” CPR and First Aid Training. Most importantly, Susie loves her family and all her pets, that’s why she passionately stress’s the importance of learning CPR and First Aid…because you never know which “Best Friend” could be the victim of an emergency.
