Light screen LS 260

The lightscreen LS 260 is a unidirectional static Infrared lightscreen and has been created at first for indoor use. Through its light construction the LS 260 characterize itself for portable use. For transportation the lightscreen can be disassembled very fast to save space. The standard version of the lightscreens are working with calibers from .17 up to .50. Custom built solutions to solve special problems are possible .

In combination with our measuring systems BMC 21a respectively the light screen amplifier TLSA-100, the LS 260 light screen can be used in many ways.

LS 1200 series

The new designed High End lightbarrier family LS 1200 connect are highly precise unidirectional static Infrared lightbarriers. Because of the size, the lightbarriers are suitable for military use, forensic analysis, ballistic labs, aviation ...

The Lightbarrier family LS xx00 consists at the moment of four members, LS 600, LS 800, LS 1000 and LS 1200 with Measuring windows from 600 x 400mm to 1200 x 400mm!

The Lightbarrier family offers the following technical data:

Caliber Range: 4 .. 40mm
Velocity range: 5 .. 3000m/s
Standard temparatur range: 0 - 40° Celsius without condensation.
Extended temparature range possible!
Accuracy: < 0,1%
Very large Sensor areas from
600 x 400 mm up to 1200 x 400mm.

The standard Measuring base is 1000mm. Every other user defined base is possible.
The Signal output is Analog positiv
The Output connector type is 50 Ohm BNC.
The Output amplitude depends on the used caliber and the gain settings.
The Power supply supports a wide - 64 Volt AC range and can be used worldwide.
Custom built solutions to solve special problems are possible and welcome.
The LS 600 consists of two single Lightbarriers, mounted with 1000mm distance (standard).

Both lightbarriers are powered from their own power supply.
The lightbarriers are featured with a RS 485 interface which makes the units able to work in a RS 485 network with up to 32 different devices.

The user can check and change all variable Lightbarrier parameters via RS 485 interface from the desktop of the Win32 Software. Only with the mouse on the table.. Very important for the users safety: No direct operation at the lightbarrier is necessary, no user has to move in the area of danger. Software language is english, german or can be user defined with a language editor.

Dual-LS 260

Double measurements:

Under certain circumstances it can become necessary to measure two velocities parallel or sequentially to get demanded data (Information). The following list shows some examples of double measurements, but makes no claim to completeness.
