Bullet trap

We are planning on using a metal – funnel type back stop for our range.
Initially quite expensive but should be the smartest way to go in the long run.

There is various advantages to this kind of backstop .
First of all they are almost maintenance free which means we will have very little downtime which means more range time for the club members.

These backstops are usable for firearms up to 8000 foot/pounds muzzle energy or more which means we are able to allow calibers like .223(AR15) and .308 or 30/06.

Because of the all metal design there is not going to be any fire danger like you might find on other bullet trap designs.

Bullet material is collected in buckets and will be recycled . Potential lead dust will be filtered and recycled. Again , club member and staff safety and enviromental protection are a big concern.
